TheDesign:For our “Better State Flag” series,we always start with a scan of historical flags of a state. Vermont has the famous “Green Mountain Boys” flag also used as the regimental flag of the Vermont National Guard. This flag has a lot going for it. Green field, blue canton with a spattering of 13 stars. So for my redesign, I kept the popular design but added one more star to highlight Vermont being the 14th state and then put the stars in an orderly pattern.
